The R&D of a multiplayer VR game

Case: a demonstration of the learning capabilities for spacemen with the assistance of VR simulation tech.
What was done: a multiplayer quest game – the colonisation of Mars in 2035. The game was built using real landscape data of the planet. The main goal is to demonstrate the terraforming possibilities on the planet.
Features: P2P network which was tailored specifically for the game, usage of the full body tracking (head-hands-legs), multiplatform (WMR, Oculus, Vive).
Timeframe: 3 months for the complete build.
Partners: game was developed with the help of IMBP RAS, which has extensive experience in the field and a unique test bench setup.
