Kics Sim

R&D development of exhibition stand for demonstration and sale

Goals:
1. development of presentation stand to demonstrate the benefits of Kaspersky Lab’s critical infrastructure protection product
2. avoiding the physical design of stand – transferring a mathematical model from Arduino to a virtual machine, creating a 3D environment instead of a physical stand, in order to be economical, convenient and mobile
3. basing on real interaction with industrial automated systems and industrial equipment, showing modern cyber-physical threats of petrochemical plants

Deliverables:
– visualization of physical and technological processes occurring in a mathematical model in real time
– visualization of accidents (critical breakdowns / failures) due to the actions of an attacker
– emulation of a mathematical model in a system of circuit simulation
– interaction of a mathematical model with industrial equipment (PLC) and the SCADA system

The project combines 3D visualization technology, mathematical modeling and work with real industrial equipment.

Duration of the project: 3 months

Client: Kaspersky lab

Year of the project implementation: 2018
